You are invited to experience the 2011 Summer Intensive hosted by Arts in Motion.

 

The Summer Intensive Workshop is designed to give dancers the opportunity to take classes from top choreographers and master teachers in a intimate studio setting; furthermore, each dancer will enjoy the individualized attention only Arts In Motion can provide. Students will take daily technique classes, learn repertory from leading choreographers, and present a culminating performance at the end of the Intensive.

 

Classes include instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Modern, and Technique.

 

End of the Intensive Performance and tickets can be purchased at the front desk.

 

 

Level I (Intermediate) - Ages 7-10

Level II (Advanced)- Ages 11+ to Pre-Professional

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL I

The Intermediate Dance Program has been designed for students with a minimum of three years of dance. Students should be familiar with basic dance terminology, and should be comfortable with a double pirouette. Advanced-beginning dancers are also accepted, and while classes will be taught at an  intermediate level, instructors will try to cater to each student’s individual needs.

 

ADVANCED LEVEL II

The Advanced Dance Program is intended for more experienced dancers with a minimum of five years of dance, including ballet. Students should be well-versed in dance terminology, and should be proficient in turns and leaps. There will be a placement and assessment class on the first day of the program, where students will be evaluated by their instructors and assigned to a program based on experience and skill level.

 

SUMMER INTENSIVE WILL FINISH WITH PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY

 

Tuition

Tuition is $325 before May 1st and $350 after May 1st with a $100 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration. Housing Available.
